Joseph Mannarino

Joseph Mannarino is an associate at the firm and a member of its corporate transactions department.

Mr. Mannarino is a transactional attorney in the broadest sense. He has an approachable nature and a passion for explaining legal concepts in ways that allow his clients to make the best decisions for themselves and their businesses. Mr. Mannarino prides himself on being both thorough and efficient.

Since joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Mannarino has represented and advised owners of businesses in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, alcoholic beverage, and equipment rental industries in transactions with lenders, strategic buyers, private equity groups, and public companies.

Mr. Mannarino also has extensive knowledge of New York real estate and related matters, including commercial and residential transactions and financings, estate planning and administration, commercial leasing, easements, landlord and tenant disputes, ownership structures and taxation, and mechanic’s liens. He has represented clients ranging from individuals purchasing their first cooperative apartment to some of the largest real estate owners in New York City. Prior to joining Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP, Mr. Mannarino was a general practice attorney in Whitestone, Queens, where he gained broad experience  and appeared on behalf of clients in New York’s Supreme, Civil, Administrative, and Surrogate’s Courts across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County.

Mr. Mannarino is a life-long resident of Queens and currently lives in Bayside with his wife Brigid, their daughter and two cats. Prior to entering the legal profession, he was a high school mathematics teacher in Middle Village, New York.

Representative Transactions

Represented a California-based specialty pharmacy in an equity sale to a strategic buyer for approximately $12 million.

Represented a Washington-based equipment rental company in an asset sale to a public company for approximately $45 million.

Represented a New York-based education services company in an equity sale to a strategic buyer for approximately $5 million.

Represented a New York-based brewery in an asset sale to a strategic buyer.

Represented an Illinois-based specialty pharmacy in connection with a private equity investment that valued the pharmacy at approximately $25 million.

Represented a pharmacy and ambulatory infusion center organization in a hybrid equity/asset sale to a private equity fund in a transaction valued at approximately $70 million.

Represented the owner of an industrial property in Long Island City in an $8 million sale.

Represented the owner of a development property in Harlem, NY in a hybrid sale/rollover transaction for approximately $10 million.

Represented a company in connection with a 1031 exchange in which the company acquired a triple-net property in Tampa, Florida for approximately $3 million.

Represented the owner of a parking garage in Times Square in connection with a loan facility of approximately $5 million.
