New York — February 13, 2024—Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP is pleased to announce that John S. Lego has been promoted to partner in the real estate practice.
An experienced real estate lawyer, John has represented clients, including the State of New York, commercial developers, labor unions, commercial landlords and tenants along with individual buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate.
He has counseled clients on the purchase of property from the City of New York’s Economic Development Corporation, negotiations for land leases with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and closing $50,000,000 construction loans with a consortium of lenders.
He has also worked with individual buyers and sellers of residential cooperatives, condominiums, and townhouses, including sellers in the Sherry Netherlands and buyers in the Four Seasons at 30 Park Place and buyers and sellers in HFDC cooperatives.
John is involved with the arts and worked with the Cheim Read and Marianne Boesky galleries. He has also volunteered for Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
