January 14, 2026 – New York, NY — Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP (KTAP) is pleased to announce that partner and head of the firm’s corporate and healthcare and regulatory groups Barry A. Posner has been appointed Co-Chair of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy’s Legal Committee effective January 1, 2026. In this role, Barry, together with Jonathan Swichar, Esq. of Duane Morris LLP will serve as an educational resource for NASP’s other committees and members about the issues that specialty pharmacies face from a legal perspective.
Prior to joining KTAP, Barry spent approximately 30 years in the pharmaceutical and pharmacy services industry as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at BioScrip, Inc., a nationally recognized public company in those industries. In that capacity, he served the boards of directors and “C-suite” executives in both legal and business capacities, including overseeing mergers and acquisitions, business development, risk management, contract administration, human resources and investor relations.
KTAP’s healthcare practice counsels a broad range of pharmacies, including traditional retail, home infusion, specialty and compounding pharmacies as well as, medical practices, diagnostic laboratories, addiction treatment centers, home health and other nursing agencies.
