New York City, NY January 31, 2023 – KTAP is pleased to announce that Evan S. Cowit, Esq. was recently named partner at Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP, a full-service law firm located in New York City.
Mr. Cowit, who has been with Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP for more than 12 years and is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Florida, heads the Estate and Tax Planning Practice at the firm.
“I am honored and look forward to continuing to grow the practice. I enjoy helping clients navigate the everchanging landscape of estate and tax law,” he said.
In his role, Evan Cowit oversees estate planning and administration, from drafting wills to complex trusts and planning strategies.
In addition, he implements family limited liability companies, corporate and business succession strategies (e.g., buy-sell agreements), tax (both individual and corporate) charitable planning, and he counsels clients on tax implications of corporate strategies and business acquisitions.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1990 and Brooklyn Law School in 1994. He resides in Manhattan with his family.
